Editorial Policies

1. Aim and Scope

AQCH Journal publishes high-quality original research, reviews, and short communications in the fields of pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, clinical pharmacology, natural products, and allied biomedical sciences. Our focus is on advancing scientific understanding that contributes to public health and therapeutic innovation.

2. Editorial Independence

All editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial board, led by the Editor-in-Chief, without influence from advertisers, sponsors, or owners.

3. Peer Review Process

  • AQCH Journal employs a double-blind peer review process.

  • Manuscripts are initially screened for suitability by the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors.

  • Submissions deemed appropriate undergo review by at least two independent reviewers.

  • The editorial team makes the final decision based on reviewers' recommendations.

  • Typical review period: 4–6 weeks.

4. Publication Ethics

  • We strictly follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and redundant publication are not tolerated.

  • Authors are required to disclose conflicts of interest and confirm ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.

5. Authorship Criteria

Only individuals who meet all the following criteria should be listed as authors:

  • Substantial contributions to conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis.

  • Drafting or critically revising the article.

  • Final approval of the version to be published.

  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

6. Open Access Policy

All published articles are available online without subscription or paywalls, in accordance with our Open Access Policy. Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons License (CC BY).

7. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support the costs of peer review, professional editing, online hosting, and long-term archiving, AQCH Journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2200 USD upon acceptance of a manuscript.

  • There are no submission fees.

  • The APC is payable only after peer review and final acceptance of the manuscript.

  • Authors from low-income countries may request a partial waiver, subject to editorial board approval.

8. Retractions and Corrections

Articles may be retracted, corrected, or withdrawn if ethical breaches, major errors, or fraud are discovered, following COPE guidance.
